1. Organization and risk context
KAIA is a U.S.-based technology company developing software-intensive decision systems. Relevant risks may arise in labor recruitment, contract services, electronics and hardware, facilities, logistics, and geographically complex supply chains.
2. Standards
No worker should be compelled through force, threat, debt, document retention, recruitment fees, coercion, deception, or abuse of vulnerability. Workers must be free to leave employment subject to lawful notice and must receive terms in a language they understand.
3. Risk-based due diligence
KAIA’s intended control model prioritizes suppliers according to category, geography, labor model, access, spend, severity, and ability to influence conditions.
- Contractual expectations and representations
- Risk-based supplier information requests
- Escalation for credible indicators
- Corrective action where feasible
- Termination or refusal where severe risk cannot be remediated
4. Recruitment and reporting
KAIA prohibits knowing use of recruitment arrangements that charge workers prohibited fees or retain identity documents. Concerns may be reported through Contact → Human Rights. Good-faith reports should be protected from retaliation.
5. Effectiveness and disclosure
KAIA does not currently publish quantitative modern-slavery effectiveness indicators, completed-audit counts, or supply-chain coverage percentages on this site. Future statements should identify reporting period, scope, methodology, governance approval, material findings, and next actions.
This statement is a public operating commitment and does not claim independent assurance or universal supplier audit coverage.
